Agrinsurance
Agrinsurance operates within the Industry Special Risks division of the MAG Group and is dedicated to the management and protection of risks in the agricultural and agri-food sectors.
Today, the agricultural and agro-industrial sector is characterized by increasing operational, regulatory, and production complexity, which calls for specialized insurance expertise and a structured approach to risk management. In this context, Agrinsurance has moved beyond the traditional, limited focus on coverage against weather-related hazards, expanding its scope of action toward comprehensive protection for agricultural, livestock, and agri-food companies, as well as cooperatives, consortia, and trade associations.
Its activities focus on the main risk areas of the sector. In agriculture, Agrinsurance provides coverage to protect crops, including policies against weather-related risks with public subsidies. In the livestock sector, the offering includes specific guarantees designed to protect farming operations, such as coverage for carcass disposal and for loss of income resulting from infectious diseases.
These areas are complemented by solutions dedicated to the protection of company assets, with coverage for fire risks and damage to buildings, as well as to the management of corporate liabilities through business general liability and product liability insurance. The operational scope is further completed by coverage for agricultural vehicles, both registered and unregistered for road use, and by insurance solutions aimed at personal protection.
Thanks to direct mandates and well-established relationships with leading insurance companies, Agrinsurance is able to structure agreements and tailored solutions calibrated to the specific needs of the agricultural and agri-food sector.
